Every year, the New Orleans Saints football team comes together to show off their softball skills in front of the city and support philanthropic efforts in the community. For the last few months, COVID-19 has greatly impacted our city, economy, and nonprofit community. Despite the challenges our city faces one thing is for sure - when we band together we come out stronger than before.
In October, Son of a Saint and Team Gleason will once again come together to have some fun and raise some much-needed funds for these two nonprofit organizations. While we keep our social distance we aim to bring the Greater New Orleans community together in spirit by launching the virtual #DizzyBatChallenge.
The Dizzy Bat Challenge is Simple!
• Get a friend to record your quick social media video
• Grab your bat (or whatever you have at home), spin around 5 times, and try to take 10 steps in a straight line.
• Tag three friends via Instagram Story, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook to nominate them to continue the challenge.
Use the #DizzyBatChallenge @TeamGleason and @Sonofasaint
• Whether you can do it or not, we’re encouraging everyone to leave a lasting impact by making a $10 donation today and nominating 3 friends to take the challenge. All donations will benefit Son of a Saint and Team Gleason.
WHAT'S THE CHALLENGE?
There is no better time or way to bring New Orleanians and the beloved Saints back together than by a virtual challenge for all, benefitting two grassroots non-profits making a positive impact within the New Orleans community and beyond which is why we’re asking everyone to take part in the virtual #DizzyBatChallenge and help us reach our goal of $20,000.
